E-mail: hodi@bgu.ac.il
Idan Hod completed his B.Sc and M.Sc (cum laude) studies in the Department of Chemistry at Bar Ilan University, Israel (2008). During his PhD, his research focused on the understanding of the fundamental physical mechanisms of charge transfer processes in Quantum Dot Sensitized Solar Cells (QDSSCs) using photoelectrochemical characterization methods. After a 3-year postdoctoral stint at Northwestern University, IL, USA, he was appointed to the senior faculty of the Chemistry Department at Ben-Gurion University, Israel (2016), where he is currently an associate professor. His research focuses on the development of new Metal-Organic Framework (MOF) based materials and concepts for (photo)-electrochemical solar fuel generation.
